Cup is a preferred way to drink Pimm's
No. 1, hence the name. Adding a
subtle mixer to the gin-based
its character and creates a refreshing summer drink that has long been
a favorite in the U.K. and at Wimbledon. Ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
can be used to replace the lemonade; club soda is sometimes added.
The first Pimm’s bar opened at the Wimbledon championships
opened in 197; today over 80,000 pints of
Pimm’s and lemonade are sold to spectators annually.
